If you do experience problems, on-site technical support is only a phone call away and to help you get back to business with minimum disruption, we guarantee a 24 hour engineer response time.

Helpdesk Support

If you experience any mechanical or electrical problems, full technical support is available from our specialist team who will liaise with spare parts division immediately to ensure the prompt dispatch of any parts required. Simply call our helpdesk.

On-site technical support

Many problems can be resolved by phone, but if this is not possible we can guarantee that an engineer will be with you to troubleshoot within 24 hours of your initial call – guaranteed. Our field-based team specialises in hand fed and automatic platens, electrical and electronic repairs.

Refurbishments

platentrader.com offers a complete in-house platen repair and refurbishment service and regularly acquires and reconditions both hand fed and automatic models. We also provide factory refurbishment for customers’ machines: cleaning, inspection and servicing, full strip downs, re-builds and re-sprays.

Training

Health and safety has to be a priority so every platen purchase comes complete with an operator-training programme. Through this, customers can achieve optimum performance from their investment. Refresher training packages are available for your existing operating staff, together with new-recruit training.

Transport

For zero logistical problems, our fleet ranges from 10 tonne capacity, 20ft flat vehicles with hiabs, capable of lifting to 6 tonnes, to 40ft articulated lowered trailer units with hiabs capable of lifting 20 tonnes – all operated by a highly trained machine removal / installation team.

Factory removals

Our heavy lifting transport operations also include a full factory removal / set up service provided by competent, self-sufficient teams.
